Sunday Morning Groups
Children and young people are
welcome to all of our services. The 11am service is particularly well geared up for children of any
age.
For parents of babies, there is a play area
situated at the front of the church on the right. There are toys and games to entertain babies and toddlers. You
are welcome to feed your baby anywhere in our church without feeling embarrassed. And when the inevitable happens
and you have a screaming child, please don’t worry, we’re very used to noise during our 11am service. Nappy
changing mats are available in the South Porch, and the service can be heard there so you don’t miss out on what’s
going on. If you bring a push chair, you are welcome to put it anywhere, but the south porch is usually the best
place.
When your child is a little older, a pre-chool
group meets called Church 4 Little People. Details are below.
We feel passionately that older children should
be a part of church. When your child has started at school, they will probably enjoy staying in our 11am service.
Every week we use resources to engage all ages. The services are interactive, children and young people are
encouraged to participate in the service and have a great time.

is the name of our group for 2-5 year-olds on Sunday
mornings.
The group is based on the
belief that small children are an important and equal part of today’s Church. It’s a different way
of being a Church together. We meet during the 11a.m. service every Sunday except the first Sunday
in the month (when it’s Family Service in church).
Parents and
carers can come with us to the Church Hall and either stay with their children, or return to the
service if their children are settled and happy. There are always enough adults on hand to provide
individual attention for each child.
We have
fruit-and-squash snacks, listen to a short story, sing a song and do an exciting craft activity. We
return to the church building in time for the end of the service.
